By accessing or using Clear Canvas (clearcanvas.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the website.

By using Clear Canvas, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement. 3. Description of Service
Clear Canvas is a free, browser-based tool that removes backgrounds from images using client-side artificial intelligence. All image processing occurs locally on your device. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use Clear Canvas only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

- •Use the service to process images that you do not have the right to use or modify.
- •Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the service.
- •Use automated systems or software to extract data from the website (scraping), except with our express written permission.
5. Intellectual Property
The Clear Canvas website, including its design, text, graphics, and code, is the property of Clear Canvas and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your images — we do not claim any ownership over images you process using the service.
Since all image processing happens locally in your browser, your images are never accessed by us and remain entirely under your control.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Clear Canvas is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the service's reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the background removal results will be perfect for every image. The quality of results depends on image complexity, subject matter, and other factors.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clear Canvas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed one hundred Hong Kong dollars (HKD 100).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clear Canvas and its operators, affiliates, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
